Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

Your name, address, and medical records are not needed to see rates. The tool only asks: gender, date of birth, general health level, tobacco use, coverage amount, and term length. Those six items are sufficient to pull carrier quotes. Name and details come in only if you apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

The displayed rates are quotes from each carrier based on the health class you chose. Underwriting may later confirm, improve, or adjust your actual class, which changes the final premium. Quotes here are estimates for reference, not promises or insurance offers.

What happens when I click Apply?

You enter your name, which pre-fills an application from the quote you selected, then move to the carriers' encrypted application system. You may pause and return later. Signatures are electronic. Susman Insurance Agency, licensed in California (License 0B75129), manages applications.

Will I need a medical exam?

The need varies by carrier, coverage amount, and your health responses. Some carriers offer immediate decisions for eligible applicants; each quote notes whether exams are required, optional, or skipped.

Is a longer term better?

Pick a term that spans the years your death would cause financial strain: while you have a mortgage, kids at home, business obligations. Longer terms lock your rate longer but raise the monthly cost. Compare 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 year options side-by-side here.

Does this site sell my information?

No. Quotes do not require contact info; we do not vend or share visitor data; our analytics are cookie-free. Check the privacy page for the full inventory of what we collect and from whom.
